Rosie’s Success Story
Rosie was diagnosed with torticollis and plagiocephaly at her 2 month well visit. As a new parent, I was very concerned and wanted to get therapy started as soon as possible. My pediatrician suggested Kids in Motion and as a pediatric RN myself, I had heard of it, but didn’t know much else. They were able to get me in very quickly and every week worked with me to accommodate Rosie’s evolving nap schedule, as well as my own. Justine, her therapist, was so kind, gentle and encouraging, while being thorough and really knowledgeable. She found creative ways to get stretching and strengthening in even when Rosie was fussy or stubborn! Rosie’s range of motion improved drastically, and we were able to avoid a helmet to reshape her head by encouraging her to move her neck and reposition her head. The facility was so clean and kid-friendly, and the office staff was incredible. They said hello to Rosie by name EVERY week! I would definitely recommend Kids in Motion to any parent looking for a safe supportive environment for their child! Thank you for everything you’ve done to help us!
