March is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month

Near and dear to our hearts here at Kids In Motion are the many families that have come through our doors that this condition has impacted. We are passionate to help make a difference and want to share the wonderful words of:
Today marks the first day of National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month. Let’s all #GoGreen4CPand let everyone know, including our lawmakers, how important it remains to change the future of#cerebralpalsy -the most common motor disability in children impacting nearly a million Americans. The incidence of CP is not decreasing in the US (unlike some other countries). Strides are being made but much more needs to be done. We need more effective prevention, earlier diagnosis, improved treatments across the lifespan, better research with clinical translation – resulting in much more positive long term outcomes for all age groups and ability levels.
