Help with Handwriting- Continuing Skills for Summer

Handwriting is an important skill for children to master and an early expectation in their school career. These skills can often be lost over the summer when school is out of session, unless continuously practiced. This workshop will be going over multi-sensory strategies that can help students build and retain their handwriting skills for the next school year. You will learn about schools expectations regarding handwriting, grasping development, handwriting protocols and fun resources available to work on handwriting skills.
Have you seen these difficulties in your child’s handwriting?
- Illegible Handwriting
- Trouble with Letter Formation
- Letter Reversals
- Handwriting Size Too Large or Small
- Trouble with Pencil Pressure
- Atypical Pencil Grasp
- Difficulty Keeping Letters on the Line
We know children can struggle with these difficulties, however, there is a way to make it less stressful and FUN for you and your child. Join us for this upcoming workshop and learn how you can help your child’s handwriting skills and how to keep working on these skills over the summer before the next school year!
