Casie Shannon, M.A., CCC-SLP
Casie is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in working with children who have various speech and/or language disorders. She has worked in both school and pediatric clinical settings. She is especially passionate about working with children who have speech sound disorders, pragmatic language disorders (social communication disorders) and children who stutter. Casie has received extensive training, awards and recognition for her work with children who stutter. She presented in 2017 at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Conference on the qualities of effective mentoring and in 2018 at the Michigan Speech-Language-Hearing Association Conference on the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy for people who stutter.
