Jennifer Fons – MOTRL
Jennifer graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1998 with her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Jennifer began her career working with the elderly in skilled nursing facilities. She transitioned to pediatrics in 2009 doing home care and worked in multiple Oakland County school districts through the Kids In Motion staffing program. In 2012, she began working in the Holly Area Schools where she engages with children from preschool to post-secondary age. She works closely with specialized programs in the school district for students with cognitive impairment, emotional impairment and students who are severely multiply impaired. Jennifer has specialized training in Learning Without Tears and Interactive Metronome. She continues to take many courses which allow her to work with children on things such as therapeutic listening, Bal-A-Vis-X, S’cool Moves, Talk Tools and potty training. She has a passion to see all students succeed and grow and has personal and professional experience with ADHD and learning disabilities. Her current focus area is with preschool aged children on the autism spectrum.
Jennifer is married with three children and enjoys boating, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
