Candice Smale, M.A., CCC-SLP
Candice received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Michigan University. She currently works in the Commerce and Clarkston clinics. Candice has previous experience in both the medical and school settings. She works with children with speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, expressive and receptive language disorders, fluency disorders, cognitive impairments and autism spectrum disorder. Candice specializes in early intervention and works closely with parents, caregivers and other health providers to ensure carryover of skills to all aspects of a child’s life. In her free time Candice enjoys exercising, puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her husband, son, and dog.
