Clinical Director: 

Full-time job
Oversees and maintains responsibility for the daily operations of the clinic with an emphasis on communication and establishing great relationships between therapists. In addition to maintaining an active patient load, the Director will provide leadership to clinic staff, attend regular management meetings, and participate in community activities. This is a full time position, in which training will be provided, while working under the general supervision of the Executive Director.
Minimal Qualifications:
Bachelors/Master degree in Occupational therapy, Physical therapy or Speech Pathology
Current License to practice as a therapist in the State of Michigan
Minimal of 7-10 years of experience with pediatric population

ApproachableGeneral duties include:
Maintains an appropriate caseload of patients providing full range of services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning
Responsible for the management and quality assurance of all clinical services
Responsible for the clinical training and supervision of all clinical staff
Coordinates with staffing manager, to determines staffing needs, schedules and vacation coverage to assure sufficient staff to meet patient needs
Responsible for meeting with all clinical staff yearly, to set professional growth yearly goals; Directs activities of staff for completion of goals by due date; Meets with therapist to address effectiveness
Meets with each clinical staff member to discuss performance evaluations
Meets with school managers on school staff and do managers performance evaluations
Participates in hiring, orientation, training, morale and discipline
Ensures clinical compliance to state, federal regulations;
Receives, investigates, and makes recommendations in clinic for patient complaints; addresses school teacher complaints
Acts as liaison for graduate school intern Placement programs 
Provides and coordinates clinical trainings for staff: staff in-service 4-5 per year and 1-2 national conferences per year
Works with Marketing director to create and plan public relations pertaining to workshops
Reviews treatment plans, daily notes, Plan of cares, and discharges to verify that such documents meet insurance regulatory standards setting up peer to peer reviews
In cooperation with Executive Director oversees the audit of clinical charts to insure adherence to insurance regulatory standards
Collaborates with the Executive Director in the development of policies and procedures
Facilitates weekly staff meeting to inform and educate clinical staff on clinic trends, policy and new treatment approaches
Participates in Management meetings weekly; Communicates all pertinent clinical and administrative information
Enforces Kids in motion policies and procedures
In coordination with the Executive team, facilities one or two year all staff meeting on clinic trends, policy, new treatment approaches and team building 
Displays a positive and professional image and attitude in all relationships with families, patients, peers and in the community

Available immediately

Temporary position in Northern Oakland county school for 3 days at one elementary school.  Preschool.  Till the end of the school year.
